Pyramid plunder is a minigame involving ransacking as much of a pyramid as possible within a set time limit, while dealing with traps, grumpy mummies, poisonous snakes and scarabs. Located in the desert city of Sophanem, Marbach smiles Plunder can be accessed from the northern-most pyramid within the city walls, pyramid plunder. Players often seek this activity out to gain over , Thieving experience per hour, or to get the unique rewards used in Clue Scrolls. In the minigame itself, players get five minutes to valuable artefacts found within the pyramid. There are eight rooms within the pyramid, each requiring a different Thieving level to access and plunder. Of course, the most valuable loot is only found in the deepest parts of the pyramid. Therefore, while the activity has low skill requirements, many players delay their visits until higher Thieving levels. By delaying their visits to Pyramid Plunder, players can access the higher tier rooms with more valuable loot and higher experience rates right off the bat.
