Currently, there is only one lounge open per terminal. This review is for the lounge at Terminal 1, Zone D. The Plaza Premium Lounge is located after security, and is open from 6 a.
Both lounges are located in the same area and you can easily jump back and forth between the two to see which one you like better. As you exit the immigration checkpoint, walk past all the shops and follow the signs for the VIP lounges. Take the escalator up to the mezzanine level fourth floor and follow the large directory. The Plaza Premium Lounge in T2 is open from to hours daily. WiFi is provided throughout the lounge and electrical outlets are located by most of the seating areas so you can easily work or charge your devices from anywhere. Just inside the main entrance to the lounge, you will find the dining room and self-serve buffet area. During my two visits, I found the buffet spread to be quite limited.

Flying back from Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, I am keen to check out a couple of the contract lounges. There are also some PP restaurants in Terminal 1. I will be flying out of Terminal 2 and shall take the opportunity to check out both the Oriental Club Lounge and the Priority Pass Lounge. These are the two options for PP members with the recent rejoining of the Priority Pass network. I had some time to burn and went about checking the lounges out after clearing immigration and security. They were painless here with the automated gates. Access is extended for 3 hours. This includes use of the massage chairs and gym equipment. You should be able to enter using Lounge Key as well or other contract lounge membership as well. The lounge is located on one level above the main terminal. You can easily find signs for the lounge and you can see it easily after the escalators. It took me less than 10 mins to clear both security and immigration.

We recently welcome the return of Plaza Premium Lounges to the network and I took the chance to visit it during my flight back to Singapore. This is the more popular one and is crowded. UNI Air is not a part of star alliance, even though its merely a regional subsidiary of EVA Air, so no Star Alliance lounge will be allowed in any form, even with status. Thankfully we have priority pass and can use one of the Plaza Premium Lounges at the terminal. There are two Plaza premium lounges around the same area. The one with visibly bigger signage is the Zone A lounge and where I will be. After getting admitted by the counter, there was some seating outside the lounge itself which was a first for me. But the second you enter, it was a madhouse. The lounge was very crowded and finding a seat without any gaps proved to be difficult. There were some more dining tables in a booth style along the sides which, of course, were full as well. It was so hard to even get a picture without it being obstructed by people.
