He was the Volleyball Team's setter and was referred to as the "heart" and "brain" of the team by his teammates, kenma haikyuu.

He is a supporting character in the series and plays as a setter for the Nekoma High School volleyball team. Kenma Kozume is known for his quiet and reserved personality. He maintains a relaxed and easy-going demeanor and rarely loses his cool, even in high-pressure situations. Kenma is not easily excited or fired up about anything, except when it comes to his close friend Hinata and his passion for video games. He is often portrayed as quiet and introverted, often keeping his opinions to himself for fear of how others will perceive him. Despite his humble and unassuming nature, Kenma possesses exceptional volleyball skills.
