After a big and bold consumer-facing fashion show in London, Mulberry unveiled its latest collection with more hushed tones in Paris today. The presentation space in the Marais was made to look like the inside of a mirrored boudoir and was filled with all manner of froufrou trophy pieces, including the requisite marabou-trimmed mules. The idea, as Coca explained it, was to inject some sunshine into the doldrums of a Fall wardrobe. The lurid house dresses and nighties were cut with the same exaggerated proportions as in seasons past, and were set in motion on a film screen with the help of artist Sharna Osborne. The new jewelry box—style purses had a bijou-like charm that managed to toe the line between practical and pretty where other trendy micro bags have failed. In other words, they fit all the surprisingly large smartphones many of us carry these days along with everything else.

After the recently concluded runway show, the collection was instantly available in Mulberry. The new collection takes its inspiration from British traditions and features classic and bold designs. The brand presents new handbags this season with soft leather material in chain strap and sleek silhouettes. The Amberley is back this season with an Edwardian style, featuring feminine trims. Johnny Coca's newest collection for Mulberry redefines the English heritage. The brand introduces new bag designs this season such as the Amberley, Brimley and Trunk Bags. The Amberley comes in satchel and hobo styles, while the Brimley are made available in top handle, totes and envelope bags. The Trunk bags comes in duffle style and mini circular shoulder bags. The bags are made of different materials including calfskin, croc print and lizard.

Compared to Mulberry's previous collections which usually includes classic and dainty handbags, this new collection presents edgy and funky bags. The New Bayswater and Chester top handle bags features studs and zip details. Most of the bags has silver hardware with thick chunky chain straps.
