Unfortunately, this attracted the attention of the Court of Owls, who recruited William Cobb to become one of their Talons. Like most Court soldiers, William spent significant time in and out of cryostasis to artificially extend his lifespan. As Talon, his responsibilities included eliminating threats to the Court and recruiting kidnapping other Talon candidates. Viewers of Batman Vs. In gratitude and respect for the boy's talents, this man revealed himself to be named Nathaniel Haly and offered William work at his circus.
