There are only about 80 sites. The entire park could be walked in less than 20 minutes. There are a variety of sites, some of which I would consider to be the worst sites I have ever seen at an Ontario park:. For some reason, that I do not understand, they have located the trailer sanitation dump station directly in the middle of the park. It is on the side of the camp road between 2 outhouses directly across from sites 49, 51 and Sites 50 and 54 are on either side of the outhouses.

Lovely smaller PP. Some but not a lot of big rig sites. Awkward water fill station with no end on the hose for auto fill hookup but we managed with jug fill ups!! I really appreciated being so close to the beach so I could swim. Some people have commented that there is a comfort station where the showers are. As life-long tent campers without kids, this is one of our favourite parks.

Apparently it is an excellent area for fishing. Sturgeon Bay is located just off of the Trans-Canada Highway 69, so we decided to make a detour here on our way home from Chutes Provincial Park to break up the 4. We arrived at the park just after 12p. For a Sunday afternoon it was busier than expected. But I guess with scorching hot temperatures and its close proximity to Toronto, being near and in the water is one of the few ways to tolerate the heat warning.
