Sekiro giant carp
Bosses are special, dangerous Enemies that feature their own arena, a large and prominent health bar, and a variety of unique moves and abilities.
Just like the Dark Souls games before it, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a cryptic and punishing experience that forces you to adapt to everything it throws at you. While the story itself is the most straightforward out of any of the recent games FromSoftware has released, there are still plenty of items that retain that same mysterious element as before, almost taunting the player to figure out what they do or how to use them. Truly Precious Bait only shows up twice in the game, but even if you find one there's no indication as to what it will actually do. If you want to uncover the secrets of how to get and use Truly Precious Bait , this guide will be far more useful than any item description. They won't have it initially, but as you continue to give them more carp scales they will each reward you with one of the two Truly Precious Bait items. While they may have the same name, there is an important difference between them.
Sekiro giant carp
As you arrive in Fountainhead Palace and make your way through the area, you'll come upon the Great Carp, a massive carp that patrols the waters of Fountainhead Palace. At one point you'll need to even avoid this great fish underwater as you make your way. However, did you know that you can actually kill the great beast and that there's a trophy for doing so? The first thing you'll need to know about killing the great carp is how to get the item that does the deed. Along the floor of Fountainhead Palace you'll find Precious Bait you can eventually feed the carp. But this isn't actually what we're after. What you want is Truly Precious Bait, and there's only two ways to get it. You may have already come across Pot Noble Harunaga in Hirata. He's to the far right on the lake right as you enter the Estate. He wants Treasure Carp scales, and will offer items in exchange. You get these from special illusive creatures known as Treasure Carp of course. These large fish are found in pools and rivers, but will try to swim away when they spot you, and are sometimes guarded by more aggressive fish. However, if you can reach and kill them, you can obtain their scales. After grappling up to the large stairway below you should see a Shichimen Warrior keep the waterfall on your right side and you should see a grappling hook you can jump too. This will lead you to a path that takes you to Pot Noble Koremori, who like Pot Noble Harunaga , also wants your Treasure Carp scales and will bad mouth the other Pot Noble to try to convince you.
Edit: Nevermind, I logged-on today and noticed the achievement had popped at some point, despite never receiving a notification. It's a video of you treading water.

Sekiro giant carp
In Sekiro Shadows Die Twice the player is able to swim. This ability allows for underwater combat and is a major departure from older FromSoftware games. While exploring the underwater, you will come across Colored Carp. There is one large carp you can find. To start you are going to want to make your way through most of the game until you reach Fountainhead Palace. This palace sits on a large body of water which is home to the Great Colored Carp. Once you reach the Great Sakura idol, run and jump into the lake. To the left there is a half-sunk house with an NPC on it. Note : If you open the Palace Gates for her, there is a brief resolution to her story. Open the gates and rest at the idol then head back inside the Palace to see her killing the enemies in the Palace.

Upon buying the mask fragment, talk to the npc and exhaust his dialogue. Go through the building you spawn beside, out the front doors, and take an immediate left toward the waterfall. Just like everything else, nothing good will come of you taking the bait. I just did it, fed three bait in a row and got all 4 carp scales. Long version: First off, find the Great Sakura idol and kill the enemy on the nearby tree who shoots lightning at you in the lake so that you can now safely swim around. Normal "precious bait" can be found elsewhere and only feeds him, it will not kill him. So the red eyes carp we find in Mibu Village is probably Harunaga in the present. He wants Treasure Carp scales, and will offer items in exchange. Recovering the corpse will allow the player to collect the Great White Whisker item and the achievement. Rest at the idol and go back to him where he passes to receive some carp scales. You will need to follow several steps in order to do this achievement. Once you have all the pieces, it uses 5 of your skill points to give you 1 extra point in attack. Now just follow the path until you grapple down to a house. Get up onto the roof and go to the far edge.

Of course, this being a Souls game, you can't use both and it is never clear which, if any, NPC is trustworthy. He wants Treasure Carp scales, and will offer items in exchange. Start off at the Vermilion Bridge idol and step out to where you are overlooking the whole area. Once you get through this path you will eventually come across the Palace Grounds idol. He will offer you a Truly Precious Bait to feed the great carp, which will kill him. However upon resting and returning, you'll find his corpse, along with 4 Treasure Carp Scales you can loot off of him. The Great Colored Carp is no different from these other enormous beasts. Change language. Now if you haven't already you will need to swim in the pond and go through where the great carp like to hide. Here you will find the carp's carcass along with his whiskers, netting you the achievement. I think gave the whisker to the Caretaker before receiving the 4 Treasure Carp Scales. If you turn around you will see another grapple point. Create a list Game 31 want to boost. And just past that if you look up to the right side of the mountain and above the tree you will see a grapple point. It is a pity, that now I can not express - I am late for a meeting. But I will return - I will necessarily write that I think.
