Risk of Rain 2 is packed with hidden realms, ranging from shops to boss battle areas. One of these hidden realms is the Guilded Coast. This is one of the more difficult stages to get to, but here's how to do it. In this guide, we are going to go over everything you need to know about the Gilded Coast , including where it is and what you can find there. The Gilded Coast consists of a boss fight with a strong enemy, as well as some very helpful rewards. To reach the Gilded Coast, you will need to find and activate an Altar of Gold. This is a shrine that is made from solid gold. When you approach the shrine, you will notice that activating it costs a lot of money. The specific price will depend on how long you have been playing, as well as the difficulty that you are playing on but overall, it will be a lot of money. After completing the teleporter event, a gold portal will then open.

Gilded Coast is a Hidden Realm Environment that can be reached when the player enters a golden portal after activating a Shrine of Gold , or by using a pedestal at the Bazaar Between Time , although this is uncommon. This area is where the player will fight the boss Aurelionite , the Titanic Goldweaver. Scattered across the map are seven Halcyon Beacons, each costing gold to activate. When the fourth Beacon is activated, Aurelionite will spawn. While there are inactive Beacons, Aurelionite is invulnerable to all damage. After a certain time passes, Aurelionite will deactivate all Beacons, requiring the player to go through and buy them all again. Because of this,a strategy is to grind through mobs before Aurelionite spawns to save up a lot of gold. This is also the location for the Blackout challenge. There are four normal chests that can spawn around the map whose costs scale the same as other levels, however the costs for these chests are not recalculated until the player finishes the next normal stage, meaning the cost multiplier carries over after you leave Gilded Coast and complete the next area.

This is especially rough for characters like Mercenary , so make sure to either take full advantage of invulnerability frames or generate distance to make Aurelionite's attacks as weak as possible.
