Food was decent, Steak and ale pie was delicious, had jam and coconut sponge with custard for dessert, portion was big enough for two. Service could be better, asked for mustard and was told they didn't have any. Found out after that the carvery has mustard. Staff member didn't tell me or offer to get me some. October Went for a carvery with family. We all enjoyed our meals. No queue when we went in but quite a queue behind us until another lady started serving at the tills. Prices are ok. One of us didn't want a carvery and opted for gammon and chips and no complaints there iether. Cakes, well enough to choose from, very big portions. Rookery Wood Farm offers a friendly and welcoming ambiance, with attentive staff who go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
