Since then several people have worn the Prowler, but almost all of them have stolen the suit from its original creator and used it only briefly. Rick Lawson is the second of the costume thieves. Lawson, an orderly at the hospital where Hobie Brown was treated for a spinal injury, hatched a plan after seeing the remains of Hobie's Prowler suit in the operating theatre. He used the hospital's medical files to steal Hobie's extra Prowler costume and used it in a string of break-ins.
