So, I just got the game, I've watched plenty of videos on it and I know how everything works, but any time I play solo so far , any time the ghost hunts, the door to the room i'm in or even just the front door stays permanently locked. So far I've only tried the first amateur 1 story single player recommended home. Can't even play the game.

This should get you through the house, though sometimes the doors can be locked for other reasons. Some areas need other keys, so just hunt till you find them and then go back to unlock the door.
