They're far from the only company though I agree it's annoying. Just vote with your feet or arrange home delivery and collect from the depot when they fail to deliver. Works for me when I have to. Lots of company's do this. Credit card fraud is massive at the moment and it may well be a step to help prevent this. Bit strong calling the guy a tw-t because he won't do something you want him to. Just go elsewhere, stop being abusive and chill. To be fair, I've dealt with Pauls Cycles several times and had no problems. There are far more companies that allow you to get it delivered to work than don't and I guess the fraud aspect is the same for all so why some companies go one way and most others the other is a mystery. However, the ones that don't deliver to the address I want always loose my custom as its more faff than its worth and there is nearly always another company to choose instead. I guess those that are flexible about delivery loose moreto fraud but the extra business more than makes up for it. It seems we have gone far enough down the line of online shopping that you would have thought it prudent for the credit card companies themselves to have a registered home address AND delivery address which companies could check — better for all involved surely? Anyone who delivers to a non standard address doesnt have a leg to stand on. Ton, I may be wrong but I think that even CRC have to deliver a first order to the credit card address, although subsequent orders can be shipped to work. Is this the new bike for your missus?
