During senior high school, our day immersion is beneficial and meaningful. It's incredible how much knowledge, insight, and background you can overall reflection in work immersion when deciding which course to take in college. This experience teaches me how to be a responsible, better person, and successful professional someday.

Through Work Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar with work-related environment related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence. Specifically, the students are able to: i gain relevant and practical industrial skills under the guidance of industry experts and workers; ii appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories taught in school; enhance their technical knowledge and skills; iv enrich their skills in communications and human relation; and v develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work. These prepare them to meet the needs and challenges of employment or higher education after employment. Work Immersion provides the students with a venue to test themselves and apply what they have learned in a non-school scenario. The learners are not only able to apply their previous training but are also able to experience the social interactions in a work environment. Their experiences during work immersion will develop many skills and values that would help them as they transition from high school to real life.

Overall reflection in work immersion

On the previous work immersion, I learned many things that I can surely bring and use someday. I also learned how to socialize with other people especially with customers. Being well-behaved is also one thing that I learned because when you look at customers you should be clean and presentable. Another thing I learned is being a fast worker because there are tasks that have time and need to be completed at a given time. For every mistake, there is a life-lesson that you will get. There are also a lot of things I did not do well when I was a student-trainee. But every mistake, this becomes an instrument for me so that later on I can do all my tasks right and well. All these mistakes serve as an inspiration to me to become a better person every day and do better to avoid future mistakes. As a grade 12 student of the ABM strand, I also aspire to be the boss in my own company or even a manager in a fast food chain or restaurant someday. If I were the boss and have the chance, I would gladly accept the position and be responsible for it. I would also be strict but not to the point where my employees will hate me. I will create a positive environment in my workplace. I will give her the chance to use her freedom of speech, that way, I will not be perceived as selfish and inconsiderate. I will not be that kind and not that cruel, I will be the boss that is always in between. I will give chances to those who deserve it.

They discovered valuable lessons about their chosen career path and gained knowledge that will help them in future work and studies. Even though it hurts a lot on the back sitting all day long while doing lots of works, I still kept thinking that it will all end with a good lesson for me, a good experience, overall reflection in work immersion, while helping others and, also helping myself learn and grow.

Having the immersion was really a good start to experience how does it feel to be in a work place. I am very much happy because working at the bank is one of my dream jobs in the near future and spending my immersion there, even in just a short span of time had really opened my eyes on how fun at the same time, stressful to be working at the bank. So far, my experience there was fun at the same time, I can say that it is also somewhat boring because most of my time was wasted by sitting and waiting for nothing.
