Jun I know there's no talisman for the Astral altar there was that, and that it was probably considered to be a lot faster to run Astrals that way than ever the abyss can make it. Now it would be at least as fast if certain things were had. Reasons to do it - 1. No extra runes need to be carried for teleports 2. A way to get to change to Lunar spell book that is more convenient 4. The atmosphere of Abyss running while doing Astrals There's room for it, and a fitting place for it between Nature and Cosmic altar passages. Jan Honestly I don't think it makes sense personally since the astral altar for one like u said doesn't need a talisman and two its in the over world it's not its own separate dimension like all the other altars are as far as extra space idk if ur asking for osrs or rs3 but either way u can just carry the extra runes in a rune pouch for one invy space so missing out on one astral rune ain't a big deal The extra XP for doing abyss running would be nice tbh that's fair Changing to lunar spells u can do with the magic skill cape at a bank and I believe all spell books come with spell book swap now I might be wrong about that though but since I didn't mention those either u don't have the levels for them or this is an osrs issue if it's an osrs issue try posting in the osrs forums farther down the forums page ull have better results there And the atmosphere of abyss is more a personal reason not an actual reason to add it m defence That's the thing though, the astral altar is in the normal dimension, when it implies by name that it is a different dimension, we have the astral plain which in itself is a different dimension, the whole Lunar place should be itself considered a different dimension, which perhaps is why it doesn't have a talisman, because it would be redundant if it did. And it would be nice if you could go from running any other rune type, to running Astrals on a whim. And also like I said, change your spellbook, if you could finish off Abyss running to switch to the Lunar spell book to do a different activity, you would be more likely to do either one or the other. Since the Lunar spellbook, is the skilling spellbook, it would be nice to not have to go out of your way to get there.

I don't see what the spellbook has to do with anything. There is no golden rule to how to use or adorn your altar. We should all invest our magic into ourselves, it is such a powerful tool and privilege within witchcraft. I hope it has the holy bible, which is the most important thing.
