M ulti-frame noise reduction helps to reduce picture noise by building up exposure and allow larger ISO numbers to be selected than the normal maximum ISO sensitivity. When shooting with high ISO sensitivity, the product reduces noise that becomes more noticeable when the product sensitivity is high. Also MFNR setting can be used to create a little sharper images, even if using slower shutter speeds at lower ISOs, to increase sharpness. No one cares.
