Following this, we ran a two week Financial Literacy session with Year 12 students at Copthall Secondary school, NW7 and coached them to deliver a session to Year 7 students at the school. Since then, we have delivered financial literacy classes to more than 2, young people in schools and community groups in the UK, Rwanda, Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon and Zambia. The AVOCADO Incubator programme, a holistic incubator programme designed to kickstart and bootstrap small businesses led by entrepreneurs in underprivileged communities and developing nations. Financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshops as well as engaging audio-visual resources for children and young people. This is an annual, intensive and innovative programme, designed to improve their Operational Efficiencies, Sustainability, Income Generation Capabilities and Leadership. Qualifying groups receive monthly intensive training, capacity building and bespoke support, which enables them to achieve sustainable growth and to successfully raise funds for their work.

This newfound support has empowered us to take significant strides towards establishing a robust organizational structure and governance, driving our efficiency, and honing our focus on delivering high-quality services to young asylum seekers and refugees from the Horn of Africa. While most people registering for BootCamps were from registered charities We think the diversity of topics and the wide expertise of trainers at BootCamps make them attractive to organisations with a range of legal structures. Most organisations in the cohort were based in East and South London, and all were within Greater London. So much great information to move forward with and grow. Definitely recommend.

Hello and Welcome to Four Minutes in Fundraising. Your essential resource for Fundraising in only 4 minutes! My team and I know that these organisations face numerous unique challenges; often it takes many years to gain momentum and build capacity in spite of the great needs they are meeting. The aim of the podcast is to make the principles and techniques of fundraising more accessible to all charities no matter their size or expertise, in bite size chunks that make for a more effective learning and implementation process.
