Disney Dreamlight Valley has made it much easier for the hoarders among us. Ever since the game launched, players have only had access to small chests when adding storage options to their houses. The house initially comes with one chest that expands as you upgrade the house itself, but you would soon need additional storage. If you like to keep hold of every resource, just in case, you have access to plenty of more chest options. You can keep one of every flower, all the shiny gems, and piles of sand without needing chests strewn throughout your home. You'll need a lot of materials, but if you're a hoarder, you already have everything you need. An update to Disney Dreamlight Valley has given you more options for storage chests. At launch, only small chests were available, offering 16 slots, meaning players were filling their houses with many chests to store crafting resources and cooking ingredients. The storage option in the furniture sub-menu now features every item of furniture which can be used for storage. Sometimes you just won't need a large chest, but it's usually the case that you need more space than what the small chest can offer.

I mean the two row chest has as many slots as the fully upgraded home chest, they're just blocked. Most of my chests are therefore the smallest ones, some are even furnishings I bought and duped with Scrooge's Store, like the wardrobes. Pls Disney

If there is anything that had a great deal of room for improvement in Disney Dreamlight Valley , it would be storage. Since crafting and cooking are some of the main mechanics of this game, it should be no surprise that there are a lot of materials for players to gather. While players do have a chest in their house that can be expanded with house upgrades , it is only one chest. With the third major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley now available, players have some new chests that they can craft to store more items. While the Medium Chest is a significant upgrade over the Small Chest, players in need of even more space will want to craft a Large Chest , and here is how to craft one. Since a Large Chest provides the most amount of slots of all storage furniture in Disney Dreamlight Valley currently, it makes sense that it is also the most difficult to craft as it requires a lot of resources found in biomes unlocked later on in the game. Coal Ore can be found while mining in every single biome, and it periodically shows up at Kristoff's Stall. Of all the materials needed to craft a Large Chest, Dark Wood is the most difficult to obtain as it only drops in the Forgotten Lands.

I think Gameloft intended to have larger storage later as a progress reward - there are a LOT of things currently unavailable for now because they've not been rolled out by dreamloft I've come to the end of current available progress on my save There are no ways currently to remove the bones in sunlit plateau or the fires from forgotten lands for example.
