Killer 47 movie
David Fincher's latest feature film The Killer partially makes up for a forgotten television adaptation of a celebrated video game series.
A new trailer for The Killer just dropped… and there are a few similarities to Hitman. The impressive new trailer shows Michael Fassbender racking up an impressive body count, especially when you consider that the teaser is just 1 minute and 24 seconds long. Even that sounds a lot like Agent 47, and the similarities only get more obvious as the trailer progresses. Thankfully, the action and overall tone are pretty on the Blood money too, so The Killer comes across as the greatest Hitman movie that was never made. It almost makes you wonder whether director David Fincher is a bit of an Agent 47 fan. Even the music in the trailer conjures that familiar Jesper Kyd vibe with a thumping electronic score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Then there's all those wonderfully framed hits - taking a leaf out of Agent 47's book, it looks as though The Killer is every bit as ruthlesslessly efficient.
