Bring your family and friends to see how various berries and veggies grow and have fun picking them! Five years ago, they decided to share their farm with the public. They wanted to give people the experience of getting in touch with nature and learning how their food grows and where it comes from. They have now seen thousands of people enjoy picking their own berries and having a great experience on the farm. To enter the fields, an entry fee must be purchased, which covers any taste testing of the fruit.

Are you interested in taking the family on a berry picking adventure but not sure exactly what berry is your favourite? Then head to Jay Berries and you can find your raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries all at the one spot. Visit the website for the availability report or ring ahead if you are after something specific. The patches are on slight slopes - which is rare for the Yarra Valley - and the rows of fruit are immaculately maintained, making it pretty pram friendly too. The packing shed has drinks for sale, as well as being the home base for the tractor rides additional cost. This years Easter Festival will have an Easter egg hunt for kids of all ages, food and drinks to enjoy, berries to pick, tractor rides and more! We will have 2 days. Bring your pup along to Jay Berries for a fun day out for the whole family! Sunday the 20th of March is pick with your pup day at Jay Berries where you can bring your dog along with you to pick some yummy berries and spend the day on the beautiful farm in. Our homemade bayberry drink is now in stock and are a great gift for Chinese New Year. Bayberries are known to have the highest amount of antioxidants of any fruit. They originate from China and have a very unique flavour which is slightly tangy. These drinks are exclusive to Jay Berries so grab. A big thank you to all our wonderful customers who supported us this season. We are very thankful that even during the challenging time of covid, we have been able to supply fresh fruit, veggies, homemade cordials and jams to all of you.

Wander the rows of laden blueberry bushes and pick the plumpest, juiciest berries you can find — and then take your fresh berries home to enjoy. Here are the farms where you can pick your own blueberries. Contact the farms direct for up-to-date opening hours and more information. Avonsleigh Berries is family business started in by Frank Edlinger and his family. Since then, Avonsleigh Berries has been successfully supplying blueberries to greengrocers, U-pickers and the local community through farm gate sales. Fresh Blueberries are available from early December to mid February. U-pick blueberries are available from 27th December until sold out.
