Habitissimo connects homeowners with residential contractors, architects and interior designers. When Habitissimo co-founder Jordi Ber needed to do some work on his apartment, he realised that there was an opening in the market to make it easier for homeowners and building professionals to work together. This realisation and his dissatisfaction in his job were enough for him to launch Habitissimo with his partner Martin Caleau where consumers can easily find building professionals and examples of their work as well as ask for cost estimates. They can also leave reviews and comments and upload photos to help others decide which professional is the right one for them. After some early struggles when it was their passion and motivation that kept them going, the co-founders won funding and support from Enisa and ICT business accelerator SeedRocket. An online marketplaces leader in Southern Europe, Habitissimo was founded in as a digital platform that connects homeowners with a renovation project, repair, or any other demand for services for the household, with professional tradespeople and companies that provide such services. A phone call is the preferred communication option for important home projects, however Habitissimo had very limited visibility on the quantity and quality of leads they were sending to their professionals.
