Gilgamesh is my favorite heroic spirit and character on the type moon's anime, visual novel, video game, and manga series called Fate. His power is one minor thing I like about him, his personality is what I truly like. Gilgamesh, the original hero, the king of all heroes, and the Adjudicator of Humanity he sees himself as the perfect king with no flaws ironically this is his major flaw his inability to see himself as a flawed being is why a few get to best him in battle. Now many people get this confused, Gilgamesh is not a hero nor a villain, he just wants to be entertained by mongrels. Regardless of what other heroes think of him, he has the absolute right to rule over them. Gilgamesh, once in his life time ruled over Babylon his city is call Uruk, where he collected every original weapon in the world and all the world's treasures many people who became heroes after his time followed his example of what a hero and king is suppose to be. This city Gilgamesh ruled over, was the pinnacle of wealth thanks to his perfect management. This shows how much Gilgamesh loves his people, in fact he loves them so much he is willing to sacrifice himself for them as he did when Uruk was under attack by the three goddess alliance. The king's core beliefs is this: do as you please, if it gives you pleasure then do it who cares what you are born to do, do what you want to do that, is his philosophy in life as he rebelled against the gods and sought after his own pleasures, now what these pleasures are is unknown for he says amassing wealth and collecting treasures do not give him joy or pleasure in life to him this is like second nature. Gilgamesh is also a realist, if something is true he will admit it as true for example: on Fate Extra CCC, he starts talking about how great he is to the main character, then the main character retorts, actually talking back to him and called him weak the king actually in that moment, agreed with her because it was the truth at least in that moment. Now he, maybe an arrogant, over confident, or harsh speaking man, but, as you can see he will admit when something is true meaning, he isn't a foolish person or unwise just careless that's all.
This caused him to realize gilgamesh from fate stay night was the nature of the world of humanity, that which he must observe. Shoving Ilya's heart into Shinji's chest and forcibly converting him into a conduit for the Greater Grail is certainly one way to show the Smug Snake just how out of his league he is.
It is a Noble Phantasm that becomes more powerful with the user's wealth, but would accordingly not be useful without a wealth of valuables. Although he possessed the treasury in life, he never thought about utilizing the treasures as projectiles until his first battle with Enkidu. Forced to draw out the treasures he had carefully stored away was initially humiliating for him, but eventually came to enjoy it and brought them out without regret. He later commented that his treasury was in disarray since meeting Enkidu, calling it a " harebrained habit " that Enkidu instilled upon him. Gilgamesh can send out as little as one or two weapons or enough at a single time that it becomes comparable to a torrent of " gushing water " directed at the opponent. Upon snapping his fingers or without even a gesture, the weapons can be continuously launched at the opponent without a break. Knight of Owner is considered to be a natural counter to the Gate of Babylon, but Lancelot is only able to keep up with Gilgamesh to such a degree because of his Mad Enhancement. As an " owner " like Shirou, Gilgamesh is not a " wielder " able to use a weapon to its maximum potential in melee combat.

With their exchanging of blows like a storm, their battle occurred within the city. Seeing that Saber believes him to be insane already, Gilgamesh claims that only three times of All the World's Evils summoned from the Grail can affect him. Enkidu was created by the goddess Aruru in response to the prayers of those who suffered under Gilgamesh's oppression and tyrannical policies. Kirei confirmed the summoning of Saber to Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh becomes pleased after hearing this and calls her foolish for not knowing the real contents of the Grail. The elements amalgamate, coalesce, and bring forth the stars that weave all of. He has the absolute self-confidence to calmly show himself before his opponents, but he is also apt to simply kill by raining Noble Phantasms behind his enemies' backs depending on his mood. Comments 0. Smug Super : His colossal strength and power could transform him into a much more successful villain. Though it would take such a long time that his body will have long rotted, it was an exhilarating sight for him, but he feels that he must have lost his drive. Gilgamesh rejected such an immortality because he had to be immortal with the desires of a human still intact, rather than simply living eternally in a body with no appetition. It seems that the way the snake goes about its life appeared to the ancient people as a kind of perpetual youth and eternal life that was not available to humans. Gilgamesh takes on the offer and looks forward to meeting Saber. He was brought forth by predecessors like all living things, the only difference being that his predecessor was the planet, the gods. With an output power surpassing Saber's Excalibur, it is the "sword that cut the world apart".
An Archer-class Servant.
He managed to partially escape, but needs an anchor to keep from being sucked in completely. Against this divine beast which none could match, Gilgamesh and Enkidu worked together to stand against it and repelled it splendidly. It is a Divine Construct created by a god, unable to be replicated by Unlimited Blade Works, and its status as a unique existence means it cannot be reproduced in any way. Gilgamesh when summoned as an Archer is based on the man he was before he came to realize the value of life: a horrible vainglorious tyrant. He is not just the greatest authority in the world, but the only authority in the world. Enkidu believed that his actions, his tyranny over his people, extended from his ability to see even what the gods were unable to comprehend. Word of God states this would give him an advantage in combat against Arcueid Brunestud as her power level automatically adjusts to her opponent's capabilities, whereas Gilgamesh's power comes from his infinite arsenal.
