Arnesby Church of England Primary School was originally two classrooms built in the mids. The school building was extended in , but many features of the Victorian era are still in existence, including the original school bell, which is still used to mark the beginning of the school day. The ornate windows and Norman arch door help to create a real atmosphere of a traditional village school that offers a 21st Century curriculum. Adjacent to the school stands the village hall, which is used for daily assembly, school dinners, indoor PE, large scale art and a very popular gold book assembly to parents. The sports field is located next to the village windmill and is a joint venture with the Parish Council and Village Hall Committee and the school is proud of its strong links with the local community. Many outdoor sports such as football, cricket, athletics, tag rugby and sports day take place here. The school also has strengths in the arts and currently awaits recognition of this in the form of the Artsmark Award, which recognises the effort of its teachers in incorporating rich opportunities within the curriculum.
