Hello fellow artist! This is my first zbc post. I made this character for my portfolio and to study sculpting a fantasy character. In fact, this is my first serious sculpt from scratch within zbrush. It collectively took me 2 weeks to complete the work and render it out in photoshop. I started this as a challenge to make a game character from start to finish within zbrush with my friend who will post his work as well in a while, that i might leave a link to. Character inspirations: It might look too obvious for any average gamer that my character resembles Sylvanas from Warcraft. I mixed the aesthetics of different elf characters in so far warcraft for the armor designs. Finally i wanted to make something different, so i made a quick sculpt of wings as a final touch. Adding skin details and micro details were done with just the stock brushes and alphas available in zbrush as a part of the challenge.

Hello, my name is Davis and I hope to contribute something with this little tutorial on how to draw fantasy characters. Basically we will see how to draw an Elf from step one, which is to look for references of the character to sketch it and finally finish coloring it. Although we know a lot of the fantasy creature that we are going to draw, we must look for references so as not to forget to place characteristic elements for the character. Once the reference images have been collected, we define the main characteristics that our fantasy character will have. As you draw you can even add some details that you have not previously defined. Well now if we start drawing and start making various sketches of the character taking into account the characteristics that we have already defined before. To start inking the first thing is to create a vector layer. Which will allow us to make many changes to our stroke such as easily deleting interlaced traces. And it also allows us to modify the thickness of the stroke with the correct line tool and clicking on increase or decrease to modify the thickness of the stroke.
