Dodongos cavern

The entrance to Dodongo's Cavern is currently blocked by a large boulder. After dodongos cavern Goron City, go to the right and you will find a bomb flower next to a Goron. Pick up the bomb flower and toss it over the fence toward the large boulder below, dodongos cavern.

Make your way over to Kakariko Village and climb up to the top of the area. This will initiate a lengthy conversation in which he laughs at you, opens the gate, tells you to get the shield and comments that his kid desperately wants a mask from the Happy Mask Shop in Hyrule Town. There are two Deku scrubs who will sell you a shield and some nuts over to the right, but chances are you won't have to bother with them. To the left of the Deku scrubs, a blocked doorway houses a mystery stone. But you can't use it until way later when or rather, if you get the Mask of Truth, so ignore it for now and come back later. Jump to the center platform, grab the bomb from the bomb flower, turn left and jump to the pillar, then to the walkway on the left side of the room. Throw the bomb at the blocked doorway to the right to reveal an alcove with a treasure chest. Inside, you will find the dungeon map. Go back to the center platform, grab another bomb and jump diagonally to the left facing the lizard head formation. You will jump across the lava and land in front of a rock. Drop the bomb and blow it up to reveal a switch. Step on it to activate a moving pillar, then climb up the ladder. There is a rock just like this one on the right side of the room, but there's nothing underneath, so don't bother. Make a left and you will see the pillar ahead and to your left.

Finally, collect all the Cuccos in Kakariko Village for another bottle and catch at least one fairy inside one of the two bottles. The last thing you should do before finally heading to Goron City is visit the graveyard on the east side of Kakariko Village. Dampe the groundskeeper can provide another heart piece by digging in soft soil , a Hylian Shield is located under one of the gravestones and the large grave at the top of the hill leads to the Sun Song. You can pull this back to reveal a Recovery Heart behind it in the hole.
