The masked villain asks Kota to trade his hat for the mask. Kota runs away but Muscular cuts him off by activating his Quirk and jumping in front of him. As Muscular attacks, his face is revealed and Kota recognizes him as the man who murdered his parents. Muscular tries to crush Kota but Izuku swoops in just in time to rescue the young boy. Muscular comments that he recognizes Izuku from Tomura Shigaraki 's kill list.

High School as they train to become professional heroes to protect the world from villains who want to throw it into chaos. The anime features an assortment of different fights from duels between classmates after hours, school-sanctioned tournaments, training exercises, to full on fights against super villains. The fight begins by showing us just what the stakes are and revealing just how big of a threat Muscular is. After Deku saves Kota, Muscular launches into a vicious attack against Midoriya that not only breaks his arm, but sends him flying into the side of a mountain.
