Great way to catch a huge new movie without the crowds bothering you, chinook mall theatre. The popcorn can be stale if you're not careful when they dig from the bottom". The mall is my favourite in Calgary- they have a bit of everything: low, mid, and high end stores! Something for everyone!

Famous Players opened the Paramount Chinook on March 23, to much fanfare. The building has been designed with an Egyptian theme in mind. Many of the wall murals include the pyramids and a giant sphinx adorns the lobby with a laser light-show every half-hour on the weekends.
