About a month ago, I managed to break my treeless saddle that I use for trail riding and endurance. The saddle is cheap in terms of how much I spent on it and also in terms of its ability to function as a saddle. I have a bad ankle and back and knee and elbow and countless other issues, but whose counting that this saddle does not help with. Given the issues, I had already been looking for a new endurance saddle before mine broke. I took back tracings and pictures and spoke with reps for a few different companies. Even a treeless vendor thought it would be possible, but would need a lot of modifications. Discouraged, I started looking for another version of my saddle.

I received my Black Forest treeless last week and finally got a chance to ride in it yesterday…. Very comfortable and stable. And no slipping or rolling. I was concerned as my mare is a bit mutton withered, but we did a nice trail ride and the saddle stayed put! Bye the way, very nice looking saddle! I had to find a 16" girth for my Paso. Much prefer the suede lining. Endurancegirl, So far I really like it, but I only went out for about an hour. Still very comfy and stable. Nice and grippy….
