Either way, talking with Cado will add the quest to your directory and point you to Impa near New Serenne Stable. She's located on a platform within sight of New Serenne Stable. Speak with her, and she'll tell you about her broken balloon. All you must do is a ttach the broken part of the balloon on the ground nearby back on top of its base beside Impa. When it's secured, talk to her again.
Near the shrine, you will find Impa, who will direct you towards the final room.
While finding it may not necessarily be tricky since its location is marked, getting into it is another story. First, Link will need to descend into the canyon from above to find the clear entrance. Upon reaching the Forgotten Temple in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Forgotten, Link will see that much of it is destroyed and blocked by rubble. The easiest option for getting inside is coming to the Temple from above since it is in a canyon. When doing so, Link can paraglide down, and there will be a large semicircle opening near the top of the Temple through which Link can head in. It will be obvious it is the right entrance because Impa's Hot Air Balloon will be sitting there with Cado standing right next to it. Once landed, go ahead and speak with Cado.
Impa has requested you explore the Forgotten Temple, which is located deep within the Tanagar Canyon. If you're still at the New Serrene Stable, you can take the road northeast below the canyon on the way towards Snowfield Stable in Hebra. You can find it by heading north from the circle of trees where the old Serenne Stable was in Breath of the Wild. Looking down into the canyon is a large stone temple that you can enter by paragliding down. At the entrance, you can find Impa's hot air balloon being tended to by her bodyguard, Cado. He'll mention that she's already gone on ahead, and so should you. The Forgotten Temple is large, but thankfully devoid of the many Guardian robots that filled the chambers in Breath of the Wild. There are a few ledges jutting out from the wall here that you can use Ascend on. Rise through the ledges to make it to the hole in the wall.

You likely won't have the stamina required at this point to reach the bluff, so you'll likely need to climb up onto the face. There are roughly three sets of Guardian statues to push through, and you can ride gusts of wind to remain a moving target as you glide over the large corridors.
