I really like the feeling of the counters being totally clean. Go to topic listing. Having totally clear counters isn't going to happen for me - between the toaster, the electric kettle, the keurig, the nespresso, the stand mixer, and the instant pot - all of which are used daily other than the stand mixer and it is used at least a few times a week - I can't see getting those out of a cabinet daily or multiple times a a day even if I had room to store them. I bounce back and forth between which one I want: uncluttered vs minimalist. Similarly, minimalism looks different in Southern CA than in Minnesota for clothing stocks, different for a farm family than city dwellers Those I don't use either, but they give me happy memories of him making them, so they went in that high cabinet above the fridge.
