I installed Jriver It has a similar problem. Users begin to report failures in the forum more or less when I begin to notice this problem. They are very disoriented, they still can not find a solution. You can switch to flac in the configuration.

Listener Supported. If you've been using our "beta" player, please stand by. We'll be introducing a much-improved new version in the next few days. In iTunes, you'll find us under "Eclectic" on the "Internet Radio" menu. If you don't see that as an option, see how to add it to iTunes. Note that "Radio" is not where you'll find us. For other players like VLC or Winamp , see our stream links. Both apps include the ability to cache RP for later playback without using cell data or if you're offline. Unfortunatly, we no longer have an app for Windows Phone. On all phone platforms, we're available via the free TuneIn app.

Do you have a link to the discussion with Bill about the flac stream? Keep in mind that this problem is relatively new, before it worked wonders. They obviously have some serious kit at the RP end as the difference in this stream and the kbps stream hits you in the face!
