I've just finished reading Richard E Grant's memoir-A Pocketful of Happiness and really loved it but something was annoying me throughout the whole book. He mentioned when he met Joan she had a young son but then the son isn't ever written about again throughout the whole book. Wtf richard baby book would have imagined the son would have grown up in their household and have been there throughout the time Joan was dying but no mention of him at all, wtf richard baby book.

This is her book and she's supposed to come off as the protagonist, but she's just mean and even makes Dawn cry and Dawn is the one trying to make up with her the title of the next book seems fitting. Mary Anne is sad about leaving her old house behind, and very much reluctant about Dawn's idea to share a room, especially since Dawn's room has a haunted passage. The main issue with the book that I had to take a star off for was the fact the Arnold twins shared a room when there were TWO empty rooms in their house?? It was still pretty good. Mary Anne took three entire chapters just to explain to the reader who everyone is, what their function is in the club, and key things that have happened to every character all along the series. This is objectively the worst BSC book I've read so far. This is another one in the "I'm glad it's there for kids in this situation" file.
