He is also the father of Riptide. After residing in the Kingdom of the Sea most of his life, Webs deserted the SeaWings during the middle of a battle, receiving his reputation for being a coward and a traitor. He left behind his wife, who was later killed in a battle as punishment for helping him steal Tsunami's egg, and his son, Riptide, who later joined and worked for the Talons of Peace to meet his father, though he never did.

He is large, bigger than Clay and Tsunami, and has a scar on his side near his tail, caused by an injury from Blister's venomous tail barb. Webs is somewhat cowardly but can be kind. Under the mountain, he sometimes brought the dragonets food that they liked and taught them a bar song, much to Dune and Kestrel's annoyance. Webs seems to be one of the dragons that Coral trusted until he deserted in battle and ran away with Tsunami's egg. After that, Coral had been planning his execution and vengeance on him when she found him. Webs seemed to respect and obey Queen Coral. This was one of the only times Webs had disobeyed her.
