Staff induction training is conducted in line with Skills for Care and 50 of the care staff have achieved their National Vocational Qualification NVQ in care with the home seeking to offer NVQ to the housekeeping staff. Ms S Magnier Regulation Inspector carried out the inspection and the Proprietor and senior staff represented the service. Care guides. Service users live in safe, comfortable surroundings. The summary of this inspection report can be made available in other formats on request. Comments from visitors to the home included that all staff were polite and friendly and the management and staff were wonderful and very caring and that staff show genuine concern for the welfare of each of the clients and do their best to make sure people are well cared for and happy. EVIDENCE: The homes Statement of Purpose and Service User Guide were well documented to inform prospective clients and their representatives about what the home offers, the management and staffing structures of the home, the accommodation and services available, the staff members level of training and how people could complain if they were unhappy with the service provided. Staff are appropriately supervised. The inspector arrived at the service at The home have complied the two requirements made at the last inspection in December in accordance with the Care Homes Regulations as amended The Registered Provider s must comply with the given timescales. The dining area in the home was noted as spacious.
