After having to cancel last year due to the COVID pandemic, towns are finding ways to bring back fireworks displays this year. More than 30 communities have canceled or postponed its fireworks displays this year due to various reasons, including not having enough time to fundraise for the event. The Walpole Fire Department had to make a decision in March in order to fundraise and secure a pyrotechnics contractor. Kelleher, Interim Chief of Police.
