Weakaura

A cross-platform application built to provide the missing link between Wago, weakaura. It enables you to fetch updates to the auras you have installed directly from Wago, without having weakaura manually copy-paste weakaura strings all the time.

Helps with tracking cool downs and such. From my experience its really nice when a guildy or raid lead that you trust shares a helpful weakaura. There are thousands of weakauras out there. Do you need them? Are they incredible tools?

I am always hopeless with WeakAuras. Have tried to use this addon many times but always get confused to set it up properly. Too complicated for me I guess. Is it weird that I like to use a mostly vanilla UI? I think there's many cases especially with legos and some artifact passives that they should be shown more visibly because of how critical they are to rotation changes. It's not optimal in some cases to have to constantly look for a tiny icon and soemtimes a tiny number on that tiny icon to make quick decisions, distracting you from what's actually happening. Plus, if you get a toon all geared and everything in most cases you'll have a dozen plus procs and buffs up there at once. Weakauras isn't needed for everything, but there are some cases it really helps. The best addons supplement gameplay, and this is one such add-on.
