I have shopped for years at Walmart Supercenter at Battleground Ave, Greensboro, NC , but the customer service there has deteriorated to an intolerable level. I thought things might improve after the holiday season, but today was the worst experience ever. There was a line of about customers waiting to use self checkout, plus I had a cart full of groceries so I went to the only checkout line with a cashier that was open. There were 3 customers in front of me, all with full carts like me. The cashier for this one line is the same one who is usually working alone and is not the fastest nor most courteous worker at the best of times. After waiting in this checkout line for 15 minutes with no progression I wheeled my cart over to where the self checkout clerks usually stand but weren't there at this time and walked out of the store. I left behind a cart full of refrigerated and frozen goods that some poor employee will probably have to re-stock or dispose of. If management doesn't care about customer service, then I no longer care to shop at Walmart. I then proceeded to Harris Teeter and after filling my cart, walked right up to a waiting cashier and checked out. Plus, I think I may have saved money by carefully shopping for sale items.
