Our Echo Wall Clock had the slow blink red light today, so we replaced the batteries with fresh ones Amazon Basics, of course. It didn't reconnect automatically and didn't show up on the Alexa app as a paired device, so I asked the Dot to do the setup. The clock starts the pairing normally with a pulsing orange light but eventually shows a steady red light for a few seconds and then stops doing anything. I didn't catch the red light until the second attempt and it happened again on the third pairing attempt. And the fourth just now. I've reset the clock successfully press the pairing button 5 times, wait until the clock light turns green but it still won't pair with the Dot it had been paired with before and which is working perfectly normally.
