Elden Ring has a truly ridiculous amount of weapons for players to discover, each with its own stats, abilities, and special features. After factoring in Ashes of War and Affinities, there are an almost limitless number of combinations and Elden Ring builds available to be mastered. One of the most unique weapon types are those from the Land of Reeds, Elden Ring 's version of Japan. This includes the Wakizashi, a dagger-sized version of the Katana that shares its bigger brethren's speed and Blood Loss buildup. The Wakizashi can open up some really interesting builds in Elden Ring , particularly when paired with another Wakizashi or Katana.

It is a special type of Dagger that causes Bloodloss Buildup 38 and players can use it to Power-stance with other Katanas in Elden Ring. Gaol Cave is a puzzle cave that has traps, enemies, dead-ends, and shortcuts. In order to obtain the Wakizashi, players will have to find a switch that opens the jail cell doors from within the cave. The cave itself is a maze, so it is recommended to not backtrack until the player has flipped the switch inside the cave. The switch itself will be located inside a small room, with miniature enemies in Elden Ring wielding bleed weapons. Be careful of their fast attacks and smoke bombs, as the room was designed for the player to be ambushed. Once the player has flipped the switch, all the jail cell doors from within the cave will open. This leads to new paths and loot areas, the player will find the Wakizashi in 1 of the opened jail cells. Elden Ring players should also notice all of the enemies kept inside the jail cells will walk out and flood the cave. Players should be careful as all of these enemies self-explode and cause other enemies in the vicinity to do the same.

Players who are looking to incorporate the Wakizashi into their Elden Ring build will need to have reached the Caelid region. There, they should head for the Gaol Cave, which can be found under the cliff near the small lake of Scarlet Rot to the east of Fort Gael. As players explore the Cave, they'll find a series of locked cells, which can only be unlocked by reaching the lever in the built-up section. Once players have pulled the lever they should drop from the platform and proceed through the passage to the right.

Wakizashi is a Dagger in Elden Ring. The Wakizashi scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for short range melee combat.
Thats the same amount as a lordsworn straight sword, are they folding titanium to make these? Thank you so much! Alot of people think this thing is worthless so lets just clear the air here - this 'Dagger' does one thing, it allows the use of Parry with a powerstanced Katana moveset. Afflicts targets with blood loss.
I confirm. And I have faced it.
You have hit the mark. Thought excellent, I support.
I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are mistaken. I can prove it. Write to me in PM, we will communicate.
