High School 's Class 1-B. Sekijiro is a very tall, wide-set man of a bulky, muscular build, with lightly tanned skin, a few visible scars showing on his left cheek and the left side of his notably thick neck. He has short pale gray hair which is spiked upwards, away from his face, the only exception to this being the small clump of hair which hangs down over the left of his forehead. His eyes are very small and thin, and he has a wide mouth with two prominent lower canines, which appear even when his mouth is closed. His hero costume consists of a dark red skin-tight suit with a very low U-shaped collar, which exposes the middle of his pectoral muscles and is lined with a thick black Y-shaped trim, which matches the ones over his shoulders.

The many Quirks of My Hero Academia are incredibly diverse in their abilities. Class 1-B's homeroom teacher hasn't gotten nearly as much screen time as his counterpart Shota Aizawa , but fans might remember the Blood Hero's brief clash with a Dabi clone in Season 3, during which he used Blood Control to trap the clone for interrogation. As the name suggests, Vlad King is the master of blood, and his Quirk is not only great for offense and defense, it gives him superhuman survival capabilities too. Blood Control allows Kan to freely manipulate his blood, even if it's outside of his body. If Kan's blood gets into the air, he can move it around like a thick mist, and the possibilities are many. Kan can spread the blood out to form a variety of constructs, from a sheet that can block paths or protect allies to spears and weapons to attack the enemy. And, as his fight with Dabi showed, Vlad King can also use his blood in its fluid state to bind opponents and harden it to keep them in place. Given Kan's pro status, it's likely that he can even more than that. Blood Control is useful even beyond its ability to protect and attack. Pro Heroes are still human, meaning they all have weaknesses to exploit. One would think that blood loss is Vlad King's main weakness, but the Blood Hero handily eliminates via the very nature of his Quirk. If an enemy slashes or stabs him, then he will begin bleeding, sure, but that just means he has more tools to work with on the battlefield -- the blood isn't lost, it's freed.

When it comes to impressive quirks on My Hero Academia , the students of U. High have more than enough interesting powers to keep viewers engaged and interested in the series. But given that the anime focuses so heavily on the students — particularly those from Class 1-A — it can be easy to forget that the staff members at the school are Pros with equally as impressive abilities. Each of the U. High staff members has a quirk that has landed them among the most respected Pro Heroes, but some have a more powerful combination of capabilities than others. Thirteen is one of the faculty members at U. High who has a quirk that should be impressive. Unfortunately, we've never seen her do anything incredibly successful with it. Not only can unseen circumstances get in the way of Thirteen's quirk, but the Pro Hero isn't necessarily fast or skilled in combat to make up for this shortcoming. Uraraka easily takes her down with the offensive moves she learns at her internship during season two.
