An army of men is growing!

It is a great opportunity for children and youth to learn the Rosary as a Community Online! The first week will kick off on Tuesday, October 5th at 3pm. We will do the first mystery of the Rosary and then the next mystery the following week. By the end of the month, we will complete the 4 mysteries. In honor of 40 Days for Life , we will be offering a special Project Rachel Rosary on the 3rd week, October 21st at 3pm. The Rosary calls for an end to abortion and healing for those who have been involved in an abortion.

The Virtual Rosary with Scripture focuses on the biblical accounts of the mysteries of the Rosary surrounding the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The first mystery is the Annunciation when Gabriel announced to Mary that she would be the Mother of God and she obediently accepted. The fifth mystery is the Finding of Jesus in the Temple when Mary and Joseph discovered him teaching among the elders after searching for three days. The fourth mystery commemorates the Transfiguration of Jesus on Mount Tabor, revealing his divine glory. The second mystery is the Scourging at the Pillar where Jesus was brutally whipped. The third Sorrowful Mystery is the Crowning with Thorns when Jesus was mocked with a painful crown of thorns. In the fourth mystery, the Carrying of the Cross, Jesus was forced to carry the heavy cross to Calvary where he would be crucified. The fifth and final Sorrowful Mystery is the Crucifixion during which Jesus willingly suffered and died nailed to the cross. His passion reminds us of the great price of our salvation. The first mystery is the Resurrection, when Jesus rose triumphant over death on the third day after his crucifixion. The fourth mystery is the Assumption of Mary into Heaven, when at the end of her life on earth she was taken body and soul into heavenly glory.
