Over a decade ago, an American family started the UPPAbaby company with the dream of making family life easier with innovative products that didn't sacrifice convenience or features for the sake of style or budget. They also have a line of top-ranked car seats. For an umbrella stroller, the Minu is somewhat hefty at This weight is slightly higher than the average. The Minu measures 6, cubic inches when folded, compact and fair compared to the competition. This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. The MINU is the ultimate portable stroller and weighing in at only 15 pounds, it is super easy to carry even if you happen to be traveling solo with your little one. Before trying the MINU I had some hesitations on if a lightweight stroller like this would offer a smooth ride for Nicholas and be as easy to navigate. It definitely has been! We love the UPF 50 sunshade to protect Nicholas from the sun and he loves playing peekaboo with it :. I also love that there is a sizable storage basket under the stroller to fit your diaper bag or other items you may need. My absolute favorite MINU moment was during our vacation- we went to a dock side restaurant for lunch and the tables are somewhat close together to maximize space I assume. I rolled the MINU right up to the patio, parked it, unbuckled Nicholas and held him while closing the stroller with one hand and placing it on my shoulder with the shoulder strap. My absolute favorite thing about the MINU? The ability to open and close it one handed. Oh and while we did not use it, I wanted to mention that the MINU can be used from birth with the birth kit which includes the ability for your baby to lay completely flat securely and also has adapters for the MESA car seat to make traveling even easier! This is a great, compact buggy with a fantastic fold, sturdy feel and good-sized basket. Perhaps a smidge too expensive to make it a no-brainer. Launched in the , the American UPPAbaby brand is constantly looking to make its strollers lighter, easier to use and fun. It combines this mission with sleek designs and seems to focus on doing fewer products the right way, rather than bombarding the market with endless releases. UPPAbaby has found a devoted fanbase with its Vista and Cruz buggies, which offer well-designed prams that are practical and functional. It has launched in a well contested market, currently spearheaded by the Babyzen Yoyo2 , which was the first lightweight buggy that promised a fold that complied with cabin baggage dimensions.
The American company has launched a number of sleek and stylish strollers over the years including the Vista , Cruz and Ridge. The original Minu was only suitable up to a weight of 15kg, rather than 22kg like the Vista V2 and Cruz V2, but this latest version will also accommodate a child up to 22kg. The Minu V2, has front and rear spring action suspension, promising to glide over many different types of terrain with minimum bumps and jolts, and has an adjustable seat and leg rest, perfect for napping and for sitting upright to enjoy the ride. They tested it over pavements, country lanes, a playing field and in a busy town centre. They also used the Minu V2 for travelling on the train and on a flight. The Minu V2 was neatly packed together, with minimal packaging and an instruction manual. The handlebar and bumper bar felt like quality leather and the light frame looked good and felt sturdy, as did the wheels.

Table of contents. Why is finding the perfect travel stroller so incredibly challenging? There are so many features to consider, and at the end of the day, all Dan and I really wanted was a lightweight stroller that folded up pretty small for road trips and flying, and popped up from a folded state with a simple click. When I saw that 8 out of 10 friends said they had the UPPAbaby Vista , and that they were happy with it despite the high price!

The single action brakes on the Minu are color-coded and very straightforward with no challenges for proper use.
