This will always remain my local pub of choice for a family meal and is a recommended visit for anybody in the area. While resting on ancient foundations, Castell Coch Red Castle is relatively modern, the by-product of a vivid Victorian imagination, assisted by untold wealth.

Our family friendly pub nestled in the picturesque Morganstown has a warm and cosy feel. The perfect place to relax after walking the Taff Trail or taking in the country air whilst on a dog walk.

It has a good selection of dishes and always has specials on everyday. A brand new build 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in the centre of Fairwater Green, based on 4 sharing but sleeps up to 7. We went with a kid and a kitten, so it is child-friendly and pet-friendly given multiple seating options. Sunday lunch Beef was delicious and very tender and selection of veg cooked to perfection. They are mild sausages with a wonderful flavor. The price for what you get is exceptional and the staff were very friendly. There is an outside area where you can eat and drink outside and a small childrens play area which is well maintained.
