It appears that the R has been discontinued and replaced with a new slimmer case, slightly larger plots and a more pronounced bezel serration as well as being a master chronometer. All good news. Looks like the remainder of the range will be discontinued including the Harrods.

Here's an exciting development for the Tudor collectors in the audience — the Harrod's Tudor Black Bay Special Edition is no longer a London-only exclusive and is now available for online purchase. Originally launched in , the ref. While the Harrods Black Bay remains a model that is exclusive to the luxury retailer, the UK-only market availability appears to have ended. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the spec is being phased out, given the changes to the 41mm Black Bay. Discontinued or not, the Harrods Black Bay remains a very cool expression of the format, and you no longer have to travel to London to get one on your wrist.
