The pub is well-known to the family with Charlotte running the pub previously in partnership with their mother, Michelle, between and Charlotte and Connor bring with them a wealth of experience in hospitality with a great reputation for serving high quality food using locally sourced produce, including produce from the Lockyer family farm!

Went in for a carvery and boy was it lovely.. Great banter from the chef, definitely will use again. Actually attending funeral party so didn't buy much. Buffet was fine. Staff obliging, good pint of Butcombe! This place serves a huge choice of very good food, with large portions, with friendly and helpful staff. What a lovely place. As soon as you walk in you get the wow factor, but a word to the wise you need to book as this place gets busy. We were met by the barman who was helpful and friendly and arranged our drinks and showed us to our table. We then met the wonderful waitress who was also helpful and friendly. The chef serving the carvery food was so friendly and we did have a laugh, it certainly makes a difference when staff make you feel welcome.
