A group of French policemen embark on a mission of vengeance after a colleague is killed by a notorious drug dealer.

Every last one. By the time, shortly afterwards, these close-knit vigilantes are revealed to be cops rather than criminals, there no longer seems to be a difference. Their identity as law officers is not the only surprise in store. Here almost everyone seems to be as brutal, driven, and desperate as the ravenous undead, and the few exceptions will hardly see their goodness rewarded. So The Horde is a wilfully ugly film, confronting the viewer with repellent characters who are difficult to tell apart, in both appearance and behaviour, from the monsters attacking them.

Most memorable and visually stunning highlight of the film was the cop who stayed behind to buy the others time! Armed with 2 guns, a machete, a forehead as tough as bricks and a fist like a sledge hammer up against a massive zombie horde standing on top of a car!

Many things can change at MovBeans, but one thing will always remain constant - Our love for Zombies. But these last few years have been bit of a tumble for zombie genre. So, to reignite my love for this genre, I went back to a French cult classic movie - The Horde a. I am not kidding when I say this movie was very hard to find, I spent days trying to find this movie on online streaming platforms but then it turned out, it was available on YouTube for free all along and I felt like such a fool. Anyways, The Horde is a French zombie-action movie with a huge emphasis on the word ACTION, because that's all you will get from this movie - intense adrenaline filled action sequences.

A group of crooked cops, malevolent gangsters and a horde of walking dead are the centre point of this gruesome, action-packed, tale of retribution and escape. Penned in like animals, on the top floor of a deserted high-rise, these two opposing gangs find they're not alone in the lair of bloodthirsty zombies stalking the corridors of death. Joining forces to survive, they must reach the ground level together or perish. Loaded with a bad ass attitude, guns, axes and extremely creative hand-to-hand combat need to survive, being caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
