Maybe it isn't really about who can own whom, who can do what to whom and get away with it, even as far as death. I wanted more background. An excellent sci-fi novel for the Reagan era.

There are some key differences between this book and the Hulu mini-series although the series does follow the book pretty closely. Vickie Noble. This book is remarkable! Pregnancy is dangerous. The novel served as a warning in its own time, and it is interesting to read it with that in mind. The weather in Gilead is always gloomy. And still Each is far better in my humble opinion. How long will we have to listen to that bullshit? Can't wait to see the movie about to be released. Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale is a tale of terror as well as a warning. But, I understand you were misled. I know, I know, big dramatic statement to make.
