Well, another channel has risen in prominence lately, too: The Critical Drinker, helmed by Scottish movie reviewer Will Jordan. In this playlist, viewers will find movies both new and old that Jordan believes stand above the rest. These videos showcase examples Jordan uses to prove his point and are often the most opinion-based of his uploads. The Critical Drinker provides valid points and commentary on many films and TV shows. For instance, Jordan often explains that movies that value universal messages will inherently relate to more people than those made to make a statement for the zeitgeist. He notes that movies with messages about family, the value of life and redemption are often the most compelling to audiences. By far, though, the biggest issue viewers will contend with is the heavy swearing. Both f- and s-words are frequent, as are other vulgarities. In some of the movie clips that Jordan shows, we also see people get hurt or killed in some bloody ways. Recurring jokes include Jordan playing a clip of a man profusely vomiting in response to poor directorial decisions as well as using a flatulent noise for similar reasons. He also sometimes plays a clip of Nicholas Cage in his underwear or She-Hulk twerking. We hear a couple sexual quips, too. While he often criticizes stories based on merit, he has also makes occasional jokes or comments that comes off as sexist.

I realise it's fun to hate on stuff and bashing perfectly solid films is a part of that experience The Dishonoured Wolf sure knew all about that, before he understandably decided to leave the YouTube platform altogether due to it severely affecting his personal life in a bad way , but the novelty of constantly doing so starts to wear-thin real fast and it can soon get pretty darn boring after a while ralphthemoviemaker ain't got nothing on the Drinker when it concerns that. The Drinker sarcastically supports content he dislikes with visual imagery often portraying the said movie negatively. The decline can be reversed through the most fundamental mechanism of all: Money. Now, do I necessarily agree with this philosophy? However with so many garbage being marketed by the main IP s you can think he is repeating stuff but the problem isnt with him its these studios repeating the same mistakes in almost similar fashion many people have many opinions on why this is happening to the movie industry and I agree with similar critics its not politics but combination of bad writing too much focus on politics and also shoving heavy political messages. As a movie critic, your job should be to criticize their acting and their characters, not them as people. We don't have to lie down and accept the gradual erosion of our art, entertainment and culture. Just to be clear, I'm not going to be touching upon identity politics, social justice issues or any other sort of political movement within regards to him and his blatant stance on these things, because that's not what really irks me about this guy and just to be frank, I don't actually care a whole lot about that side of his unimpressive "pretend personality" all put-on for show. Blessed with sharp wit and keen insight, The Critical Drinker delivers week after week. Calling out actors and actresses feels wrong and is, in my opinion, something that critics should always avoid. For him, storytelling comes first. Did you know Edit. Somewhere along the way though, he became some sort of far right leaning dude, aiming for that target of people.
