Minecraft is one of my favorite pastime activities.

It can be hard to progress in Minecraft if you are running low on materials. Once you do have enough material, you may need a way to smelt it all. Fortunately, this guide will teach you how to make your very own super smelter with 16 furnaces. A furnace is incredibly useful in Minecraft, but sometimes, they just don't smelt fast enough. With this super smelter, you can smelt material simultaneously in 16 different furnaces. All you need to do is place materials and fuel in chests, and the super smelter will do the rest of the work. Smelted material will end up in a chest so you can easily grab everything.

For this reason, players spend tons of resources on making massive "super smelters" that can cook tons of items in only a few minutes. Unfortunately, the material cost of a Super Smelter is the main reason some players could get scared away from making them. However, there is a very basic version that will get the job done, and it only costs:. This basic version will smelt items without taking them out of the furnace, allowing players to do other things while waiting on their cooked items. It also smelts two stacks at once. This basic version starts by placing a double chest on top of two hoppers leading directly into the tops of two furnaces. Then place two hoppers at the bottoms of these furnaces, leading into a chest. This chest is where the smelted items will be stored.

One of the things i hate to do is mine stuff, but when i do i try to mine more than i need in case i do need it later that way i don't need to mine later. The tutorial was a video and when i tried to find it again just the other day i couldn't find the one i wanted but luckily i had one built in one of my worlds and i was able to reverse engineer this system. I'm not sure who created this exact system and i take no credit for doing so but Tango Tek has a great video and world download for a system similar and that can be found here. The idea of mass furnace arrays are nowhere near being new, in fact searching for large furnace array or industrial furnace will yield many results. The majority of the furnace arrays i found used hopper mine carts the advantage to these is the large size you can make these, the design I'm going to show how to make has a limit of 14 furnaces without extending the redstone but this is plenty for my uses.
