I've had trouble killing off these guys down the long ladder in the water - I've tried agro-ing the closest one only using a bow but the other one always seems to end up coming over and when that happens I tend to die. Are there any tips or tricks for taking on these guys? TyeDye 7 years ago 2. I always pull the left one with the bow, then fight it in that corner by the ladder. It's rough as hell because you have no room to maneuver, but it's the only way I know of to avoid getting the second one involved. Sulyvahn's Beast is an enemy in Dark Souls 3. I killed them with Fire Spiked Mace but boy it was hard. I died in the Water more then in the rest of game. For the one in the mcdonnel room you can lure one then stagger and riposte. It will be in a begging animation and not attack until you hit him another time. Then you have time and room for the second one especially if you cant kill the first fast in limited space. I have four playthroughs under my belt yet I never feel like there's any worthwhile strategy.

These beings represent the final results of the Left Eye Ring and the Right Eye Ring enchanted by the Pontiff Sulyvahn , having fully transformed the Outrider Knights that protect Irithyll into almost completely mindless, guardian beasts. Encountered only in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. These beasts are very aggressive opponents and can easily kill the player if they are unable to escape their vicious assault.

Eventually the thing will stagger from getting bonked on the head and that's when you can deliver a powerful critical to finish it off. Would work with a different setup I'm sure but might take longer. At first i believe this mf had broken hitboxes, but I think the hit box of the bite comprends his ribs too, its a nightmare to dodge with low vit. God is real. Just like the rest of the game, never get greedy and try two shots, you'll probably miss. I hate these enemies with a burning passion. The McDonnell-fight is very easy: Cast hidden body and spook, then go near one beast and shoot three chaos bed vestiges on it - it will not attack because of the spell hidden body. Or maybe idk do we get to have like a bestiary later on? You can just poke your head out a little bit toward the one on the right and he'll come bounding over.
