I rolled with Butters whenever possible. He's the most likable and his powers complimented mine pretty well. I think Stan and Kyle were my least favorite. He causes tons of damage to all enemies with the Furry Friends attack while also starting bleeding, and can lower their attack with Charm before that. The way the mage works in this game, one round of that followed by another round of fire or slow magic and Kiss to gross them out and the enemies were often killing themselves as they attacked the second time or I was getting in a third strike before they got their second. But then Professor Chaos is so much more clutch than any other abilities that Butters becomes super important again in the late game. The only time I was Jimmy was for his side quest and a few random times when I just needed to regain Kenny or Butters' health and randomly picked him. Stan likewise seemed pretty useless and I don't really remember what Kyle did but I do know it felt good to fire that arrow attack and it seemed like it was probably the true second strongest buddy attack. I loved that Cartman's main attack was the v-chip even if that should've been a plot device to make it make sense but I could take him or leave him. My biggest complaint was that, alongside the game being fairly easy challenging to win, but hard to die they only used a two character party. I picked my favorites early on and the newest characters came so very late that it was hard to invest any effort in learning their timing or tactics. The whole system seemed like it'd have a lot of potential in a sequel, though. The variety of the buddies was totally well done.
His healing is pretty useless when he is the main target most of the time.

After beating the game probably a tie between Cartman and Kyle for pure combat.

As the credits roll on South Park: The Stick of Truth, the big question isn't why Ubisoft would choose to censor certain scenes for tender European eyes, but how they censored it. This is a game that doesn't so much cross the line as utterly erase it in a blitzkrieg of piss, poop, farts, profanity and over-the-top violence. In the midst of such gleefully offensive mayhem, working out how far constitutes "too far" is an utterly pointless exercise. It is, in other words, an absolutely note-perfect adaptation of the legendarily scatological TV show into an interactive form. Previous South Park games have imitated the crass humour and borrowed the catchphrases, but missed the deeper layers of satire and the odd sweetness that binds the foul-mouthed whole together. Characters said familiar things, farts were farted, but the dirty, witty soul was missing. With creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone fully on board as both writers and voice performers, that certainly isn't an issue with The Stick of Truth. From the script upwards this is a true continuation of the show - an epic spin-off story that could just as easily have been a movie sequel to Bigger, Longer, Uncut. Rather than loosely draping a South Park skin over a generic game, developer Obsidian has created a South Park story that just happens to be a role-playing game.

Butters is a bit on the squishy side, but that can be circumvented by pissing off the other team as Douchebag. Butters for both his silly banter and his great variety of effective attacks. Switching your buddy every other move isn't a terrible idea to get a heads up and have diversity in battle. Jimmy was second, and I hardly used the others.. Originally posted by Sgt. Tech Support. I used Butters for pretty much the entire game but Princess Kenny's Unicorn Attack is pretty hilarious especially when you mess it up. Stan - To be honest, he isn't that good. He has a funny fail state I wont spoil it for one of his attacks but I don't actually find him all that useful so I only used him when it was part of the quest. What do you need help on? He isn't even particularly useful for ambient dialogue because he can't actually speak without mumbling as is his character.

Plus if you switch often you can utilize your entire crews unique PP using abilities to add status effects or just wreak AoE havoc. I think Stan and Kyle were my least favorite. He also pulls tons of aggro which can be bad as it tends to mean if you don't stun lock the enemy which is usually easy to do so not a big deal he gets knocked out a lot or takes tons of damage but he doesn't actually have the HP to compensate. That's a win in my book. I like Kyle the best, but to be honest, he doesn't really do well against people with high armor Swapped him out otherwise. I use the PP abilities with my character and have Jimmy keep using his ability to refill the PP points. There needs to be more games today made like this. Discussions Rules and Guidelines. Mat Cauthon from The Dragon Reborn. Although I would rather walk around with Butters or Cartman to hear their one liners.
Excuse, that I interrupt you, but you could not paint little bit more in detail.
I am sorry, it not absolutely that is necessary for me. Who else, what can prompt?
In my opinion you are not right. I am assured. I suggest it to discuss. Write to me in PM.
